Altrincham and Hale photographic society meet every Friday from  September through until May in Timperley library. The meeting start at 7-30pm and run until about 10-00pm, we also run bye-weekly from May through to September.  The summer meetings are all self-help and are purely digital. We try to vary the programme as much as possible with guest speakers on all aspects of photography.

We have four internal competitions on a set subject and an open section,these are for digital images, prints. and slides and are judged by outside and inhouse judges.

We also take part in external competition including the Lancashire and Cheshire Photographic Unions' annual print and digital imaging.

The society is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britian through the Lancashire and Cheshire Photographic Union and we are also members of the Trafford Arts Association.
